*The program aims to incorporate all aspects of the child development: social, emotional, fine and gross motor skills, cognitive and language development. *The program supports the development of children's thinking, reasoning, decision making and problem solving. *Children within the program have opportunities to make meaningful choices. *We provide play experiences which provide a balance between routine and spontaneity. *The program respects and supports individual and cultural diversity and encourages positive relationships with children and their families. *The program is flexible so that the educators can adapt to individual children or groups. * We value and support the diversity within our community and our society and we believe children should learn to respect and honour that diversity * We believe in providing an anti-bias approach to positively support children's growth of identity and self-esteem. *We recognise that all children should have the same advantages and opportunities regardless of their religious preference, gender and ethnicity. *We recognise that each child is unique. We allow all children to progress at their own pace, building on their strengths and following their interests. *We believe in providing children with security, love, affection and sense of belonging and sharing relationships with their carers to strive and develop to their full potential. *The centre aims to equip the children with the life skills that enable them to experience fulfilling and rewarding participation within their community. * We believe it is important to recognise and respond to the unique influence that a family has in a child's life. * We strive to develop positive and supportive relationships with families based on open communication and the sharing of knowledge and skills. * We encourage the involvement of families to contribute and share in their child's daily experience at our centre. * We respect and appreciate family diversity with respect to family structure, socio-economic and other differences that may exist. * We value and respect the special relationships and bonds between children and their families. *We recognise staff as our most precious resource and aim to provide them with a satisfying and safe working environment. *We acknowledge the importance of working as a team to provide high quality care and education. *We value and support staff input into decision making, continued professional development and the role staff play as advocates for the wider field of early childhood educators. *We strive to select appropriate staff who are sensitive and responsive to the needs of children and their families. *We as staff recognise the importance of listening to children to better understand their needs and interests. In relation to the environment: *We aim to provide supervision, safety checks and implementing regulatory requirements to ensure the physical environment is safe. *We aim to provide an environment which reflects children's cultural background and diversity. *We believe the environment should be safe and clean and encouraging for active exploration. We understand the needs of children and their families, staff and the community are constantly changing, and therefore ongoing evaluation is paramount to creating a service that is responsive to those needs.
